These are challenging and unexpected times for families across the Central Coast who are struggling with a growing list of major life issues including unemployment, illness, financial loss, cancellations of sporting events, school closures and attempting to work and home school children under difficult circumstances.

We understand the significant emotional impact this is having on our local community and the availability of services to our community members.

Central Coast Family Support Services will continue to support families utilising technology and telephone sessions with families who require support. Our goal is to assist you to stay safe in this time and to support you to stay calm and work out ways to deal with the current situation that will be with us for a while.

If you require telephone or video conferencing support during this time, please complete the ‘online support request’. Our dedicated team are closely monitoring emails and contact forms to support you. You can also send a text message to 0423 768 293 or phone us to refer yourself for support during this time.

We will continue to provide parenting education services via ZOOM video conferencing or Skype sessions. Our parenting education programs are structured, weekly 1 to 2 hour sessions that are usually delivered once per week over a number of weeks. Our structured parenting education and group work programs can be found here.

If you’re not sure what support might look like for you exactly, and would like to discuss some of the options available to you, please feel free to call 43401585.
